Hey guys! How are you all hope you all are good and safe from this super villain we are fighting (everyone knows what I am talking about) I will try & keep today's blog short.

EXPECTATIONS

There is a challenge, a fear on our mind all time. The fear of disappointing others, the fear of expectations. You expect from others & others expect from you. But to what extent? That is what we will read about today.

'Expectations' a big fat 11 letter word right out there screaming at you, and you know you can’t do anything about it, I mean like that's the whole point that makes this word so stressful.

I am not going to tell like stand out for yourself and protest. I understand the pain, the pressure, and the indescribable feeling that everyone goes through.

Others 'expect' some things that you feel they should first ask for, the same way you unknowingly might expect from people the same way.

Fulfilling one's expectations is ok but everything has a limit which should not be crossed. If you are forced to do something against your will and wish just for the sake of expectation then it is not ok.

I will give you an example. So an incident occurred to me several weeks ago -

So I was attending an IRMUN conference and we had some guest speakers with us and one of them was Subhojit Ghosh (Sunny), I wrote him a simple question on his insta dm, the question was,

"What do I do if I want to do something but the whole world is expecting something else from me?"

Unexpectedly enough he beautifully replied to my question it went like -

"There are many situations in life when you need to make decisions like these, it's tough.

Take that particular situation & think about it 'Does it really matter'?

If your answer is still yes then go for a critical analysis about the situation and ask the same question. If the answer is still yes that means that that thing really matters to you so just go for it."

Everyone's life is different, their problems are different but if you follow this simple method, I bet your life will be much easier. I know these things are much easier said than done, but I do have a point don't I.
